Day 1:

More than 100 campers gathered at Ky Hoa hotel, where they were informed of the rules, introduced summer camp information and received uniforms.

In the afternoon, you visit Skyview Landmark 81 and see the city from above. Yen from Bac Lieu shared that this was her first time riding an elevator and she looks forward to sharing this exciting experience with her friends and family when the summer camp ends.

After dinner, you all interacted, wished the program a happy birthday and played fun sports games with the Vietnamese Ambassador artists. This year’s event had the participation of Ms. Kim Xuan, Mr. Quoc Thuan, Ms. Hanh Thuy…

Day 2:

In the morning, you wake up early to exercise to greet the new day and eat breakfast buffet to gain energy for a long day of activities.

According to the schedule, today you will have fun at Dam Sen water park. Here you can meet, take photos and have fun interacting with artist Tuyet Thu.

Most of the children at the summer camp come from very difficult circumstances, are orphans and live with grandparents or have no adult care, so they have never been able to go to the park or enjoy other childhood pleasures. The first time seeing thrilling games, many of you felt very strange and shy. With the encouragement of the artists and organizers, you overcame your fear to play with all your heart.

In the evening, after dinner at Dam Sen restaurant, you participate in the scientific workshop “Recycling and Creativity” under the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union. Not only will you learn useful knowledge but you will also be able to unleash your creativity.

Day 3:

In the morning, you will visit and experience pottery making at Minh Long ceramic company. Here, children learn more about the history and process of making ceramics, and understand more about the sophistication and craftsmanship of this product.

Next, the children were able to decorate their ceramic products themselves. Not only do they practice their dexterity and passion for creativity, they also have fun when they decorate their own souvenirs.

In the afternoon, the children visited the Independence Palace. During the process of participating in summer camp, children are always instructed by the organizers and their brothers and sisters to throw trash in the right place, follow the line, talk softly and comply with summer camp rules.

Finally, day 3’s activities ended with the play “Give me a ticket to childhood” at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

Day 4:

You have the final session, summarize and give gifts to the groups.

After 3 days, although short, the children have become very familiar and connected. They signed the guestbook and exchanged contact methods. At the end of the session, there were inevitable tears when saying goodbye. Everyone missed the friends they had just met and promised to work together to study well so that we could meet again next year.

Witnessing the growth and connection of the children through this year’s summer camp, the organizers and businesses feel very happy and proud to have contributed to bringing meaningful childhood memories to the campers. We hope that you will continue to strive to improve your studies and always believe in your own efforts. We hope to see you again next year. See you soon!
