Russian vegetable salad

This popular dish is very simple to make. We invite you to show off your talents to treat your family on the weekend.

How to do it

Peel potatoes and carrots, wash, cut into squares.

Put a pot of water on the stove, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, bring to a boil, add carrots, potatoes, peas, and corn kernels, blanch, take out, and drain.

Put all the vegetable ingredients, capers, and gherkin in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper, and mix well with mayonnaise.

When eating, put it in a round mold and press lightly to create a beautiful shape, decorate with flowered vegetables.

Gherkin is a small, green gherkin pickled in vinegar, used as a pickle and mixed into salads. You can buy pre-packaged Gherkin at supermarkets.
